Roots and a living tradition.

At the beginning of the 20th century, Jeroni Carrera and Rosa Molas opened the ground floor of their home to the neighbours: a glass of wine, a warm meal, a conversation around the table.

What began as a small street-level refuge gradually took root, welcoming the first travellers who came to Beget in search of a slower world.

In the kitchen, traditional stews have become the heart of the house: a way of doing things that has accompanied and defined us from the very first days.

The arrival of the road in the 1960s was a true upheaval for the village. At Can Jeroni we found our place, letting the house grow with the times without changing its voice.

After more than a century, the house has asked hard decisions of us: what to touch, what to leave alone, what to remake entirely. Our answer has been a balance between the stone that already spoke and the spaces that called for a new voice. That is why Can Jeroni, today, does not only have more than a hundred years behind it — it also has the present.
